Givenchy Paris Haute Couture Fall 2010

Im no Haute Couture guru usually when I hear the word on FTV it is usually followed by a beautiful girl teetering up and down the catwalk wrapped in a swan or something resembling a lilo. I don't get it. For me great fashion is about accessibility, it's about garments that make you blush at the thought of wearing them. This year, Givenchy's  creative director Riccardo Tisci has done just that. He has replaced the black ensembles and dramatic make up with neutral shades, dreamy, ornate textures that would make any girl sigh with wanting.
